I Like Wine.

I’ve been promising a kitchen remodel update…

We’ve painted, upgraded the outlets and switches, installed new cabinets, countertops, appliances, hardware, trim, most of the tile backsplash — plus added some custom touches like soft-close drawers, push-to-open mechanisms, and built-in organizers. It’s coming along beautifully, and I’m so excited to have it DONE soon.

(And by “we,” I of course mean my handy husband. 😄)

Speaking of, Christian is The Deal Man. He has this almost supernatural ability to find the best deals on quality things — which works out well, because I have expensive taste. (Sorry, dear.)

One of his finds for our kitchen was a paneled Monogram refrigerator. Actually… he bought two. One is a wine fridge (ahem, “beverage center”) — multi-zoned, holds ~100 bottles, and slow-close drawers The only challenge? Keeping it stocked!

The emerald green Cafe' range is equally awesome (of course, he got a super deal on it). We love to cook together, and I especially enjoy baking. Is there anything better than a fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookie with a glass of bubbly? Maybe a pinot noir?
