For nearly two decades, I’ve worked with early-stage technology companies, driving initiatives in Human Resources, Customer Success, and Operations. Time and again, I witnessed a critical challenge: startups faced a persistent disconnect between their essential needs and their available resources. This misalignment forced founders into tough trade-offs, slowing progress and capping their growth potential.
Through my work, I built a network of accomplished leaders across the SaaS ecosystem—spanning from Admin & Process, Go-To-Market to Product & Technology. In human resources, especially, where talent acquisition and retention are vital for scaling, the disconnect was starkly evident. Startups desperately needed strategic expertise to build strong teams, but their budgets couldn’t support full-time specialists or traditional consulting models. My conversations with these experts revealed a shared frustration: their deep knowledge was often out of reach for the startups that needed it most.
This realization inspired the creation of an all-in-one startup partner— STARTUP SMART. Our mission is to bridge this gap by connecting startups with seasoned professionals who provide interim, project-based, and fractional support.
